YAB, ur decision to do away with the 30 per cent of bumi equity for certain sectors is most welcoming.
however, i am a malaysian (non-bumi) and i had applied for a business license and my company has a 51% bumi equity.
And yet my application was rejected despite possessing all requirement (as admitted by the officer who interviewed me and the other directors).
the reason: to my shock they wanted 70% bumi equity.
he told me it is an unwritten rule that a 70% bumi rule is required.
FYI: the officer who told me that has since been tranferred to a less important session in his department.
i do not understand the rational.
will provide more infor if needed.

Pada hari 04.04.2010 lebih kurang pukul 4 petang,saya mengalami satu kemalangan jalan raya di bulatan billion dekat taman midah tesco.kereta saya dilanggar oleh motosikal dari belakang.akibat kejadian ini,baru saya tahu di negara kita system rangkaian traffik di negara kita masih belum selaras.Ini bermakna jikalau kemalangan tersebut berlaku di kawasan kuala lumpur,kita mesti membuat laporan di balai polis traffik tun h.s.lee saja,jika kita pergi ke balai polis yang terdekat pun mereka tidak akan mempedulikan kita.Kerajaan naikkan gaji polis,tetapi tidak meningkatkan system rangkaian polis?Satu lagi masalah ialah kerajaan perlu semua kenderaan di darat membeli insurans,tetapi hari ini sarjan traffik memberitahu saya,kalau motosikal yang langgar saya salah,saya tidak dapat mendapat pampasan daripada syarikat insurans motornya.Ini kerana motosikal hanya membayar insurance beberapa puluh ringgit setahun,syarikat insuransnya macam mana nak bayar kes-kes yang melibatkan beberapa ribu?ini bermakna mereka suruh saya tidak perlu membuat pampasan!

Why is LHDN Kelana Jaya moves to Mutiara Damasara in the of March when everyone filling in their forms. It is in one corner of the world and why choose just a time to do.
