Just came back from Microsoft Teched 2008 SEA.

As usual, Microsoft Teched SEA a place you can find a lot of Microsoft technologies updates, training and its partners show case. Like last year, Teched SEA 2008 is held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Malaysia. However, i felt that the crowd is not as large as last year, maybe it is impact by the high oil price hike as well,  people are spending money more carefully now.

This year, Microsoft Forefront products, Microsoft Server 2008, SQL 2008, Virtualization, Visual Studio 2008 are the mainstream topics. Of course, underline all the products, you will find Microsoft is trying hard to educate its users and customer about security. Like what Steve Riley always said, all data all Evil unless proven otherwise.

The hands on lab for Teched has been improved a great deal from last year.
Also, outside the hands on lab, HP show case the equipment that powered up the lab, which is HP c-class blade servers.
