Najib Special Task Force Make Progress In Battle Illegal Outflows of Money?

Today there is one news on TheStar newspaper catch my attention.

Our PM said that special task force which have representatives from various agencies including Bank Negara, the Attorney-General’s Office and the Inland Revenue Board have some early signs success recently.

“For example, tax evasion has been substantially reduced.”

“For this year, revenue from tax collection is expected to be RM22bil more than last year and RM7bil more than the forecast for this year.”

In my mind it goes like this:

Hello? What does reduce of tax evasion and increase in tax collection revenues have to do with overcome the illegal outflow of over RM1 trillion between 2000-2010???

I am not a financial expert but i am not that stupid to understand that putting more money in my pocket DOES NOT stop my money going out of it if my pocket have a hole.

More money putting in pocket only mean more money going to flow out of my pocket if I do not patch the hole in my pocket!

Come on our beloved PM Najib, you have to do better than that as a PM and Financial Minister.

By the way, it must be not easy and need to spend a lot of time to serve our nation as prime minister, why we still want our PM double headed as Financial Minster position? Malaysia have plenty of qualify personnel to take up the role.

The over RM1 trillion illegal outflows of money from Malaysia during 2000-2010 proved to us that Prime Minister double headed as Financial Minister is not working. We need someone without conflict of interest to hold the position.

What do you think?
